RUN-OFF ELECTION FOR MAYOR OF FRANKFURT: 26.03.2023

Our letter to the Frankfurt mayoral candidates:

"On the occasion of the upcoming Frankfurt mayoral election, we would like to raise some questions about child and transport policy in the interest of Frankfurt's children and their families.

BiciBus-Germany is a mobility initiative supported by the ADFC, which, as part of the implementation of the transport transition, aims to help children and young people in particular to use bicycles as a means of transport in an environmentally friendly, health-promoting and therefore sustainable way to achieve independent mobility. Aspects such as road safety are not neglected, but are actually promoted.

We therefore kindly ask you to answer the above questions in writing by February 17, 2023. To provide guidance to parents eligible to vote, we plan to publish the answers or non-answers to these questions. In the unexpected event of a non-response, we will assume that the topics addressed are of only limited importance to you. Such information is also not insignificant for voters as parents and road users.

In addition to this written questionnaire, we also have the option of conducting an interview with children. We would be happy to accept your suggestions for dates.
